About the Role:
Arnie's Service Center is looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team in Philadelphia, PA! Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic testing on vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid services
- Repair and replace brake systems, suspension components, and steering systems
- Perform engine and transmission diagnostics and repairs
- Inspect vehicles and communicate findings clearly to service advisors and customers
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work bay and shop environment
- Stay current with manufacturer updates, technical service bulletins, and industry best practices
Requirements:
- 1+ years of hands-on automotive repair and diagnostic experience
- ASE certification(s) preferred or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with diagnostic scan tools and shop equipment
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems including brakes, engine, electrical, and HVAC
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
